The Timekeepers

Jake Hepton is an ordinary schoolboy, living an ordinary schoolboy's life, until he is given extraordinary powers as one of the six Keepers of Time. With a new ability to freeze time at will, Jake must learn to use his powers responsibly, saving lives and protecting the innocent. But his identity is at risk when Fergus Dingley, a former Timekeeper whose memory had been erased, finds a document he cannot remember writing. Nobody believes his claims about the Timekeepers, but unexplained events continue to occur, especially when Jake is around. When Fergus tests his theory by putting himself in mortal danger, Jake faces his biggest challenge: can Fergus be saved, or must he be allowed to die in order to protect Jake's identity and the secret of time?
