The Way of Awen

Expanding upon the foundation of The Bardic Handbook, this volume explores the transformations the bardic initiate must go through to become a fully-fledged Bard. Originally this training was to take tweleve years in the Bardic Colleges of old, but the world needs bards now working in communities, bringing healing and hope with their words and music and so the training process is accelerated in microcosm over twelve months, echoing the twelve years of Taliesin's journey from Gwion Bach to the Shining Brow.

The Way of Awen seeks to provide a comprehensive development programme for those dedicated to the path of the Bard. Using the legend of the Welsh semi-mythic bard Taliesin we will examine in detail each one of these stages of consciousness and bardic development - using them as metaphors for the stages of evolution from Anruth to Bard.
