Living with IBS

IBS affects up to 20 per cent of the population in the Western world - it's so common it's been called the common cold of gastrointestinal illness. Medical treatments are only moderately effective, and the psychological burden of IBS can often be as debilitating as the condition itself. This book uses the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help people with IBS have a better quality of life.
