The Head of Gonzo Davies

Gonzo Davies, a rugby back-row forward and builder, knows the highs and lows of life. He has played at the Millennium Stadium, but back in his top-of-the-valleys village, the street lights have long gone out outside the clubhouse, which is home to the likes of Capper, the Professor, Useless, and Our Marnie. When Gonzo meets Grace, however, he has no idea that he is about to become the target of dark forces, as political and industrial corruption conspire to give parochial violence a national and international dimension.
