Germany's Romantic Road: A Guide for Walkers & Cyclists to the Romantische Strasse

This text describes the Romantic Road or "Romantische Strasse", Germany's oldest and most popular touring route. Hitherto known almost exclusively as a motoring itinerary, a new waymarked route now makes the entire journey a suitable cycling or walking route. It is to cyclists and walkers that this book is principally geared, giving full directional instructions, as well as detailed descriptions of the towns and scenery along the way. The book contains a full complement of route maps and town plans, and is illustrated with photographs taken by the author.
