Built between 1988 and 1995 by VW, using Volkswagen's B3 platform in the rear of the car, and the A2 platform technology up front. It offered exceptional handling for its time. It was thought expensive and reached a production total of just 97,521. All Corrados were front-wheel drive and featured gasoline engines.
