Fundamentals in Enzyme Kinetics

Emphasizing the continued importance of graphical methods alongside the growing use of computers, this work introduces the basic principles of enzyme kinetics. Fourteen chapters cover such topics as the derivation of steady-state rate equations, reversible inhibition and activation, reactions of more than one substrate, the use of isotopes for studying enzyme mechanisms, the effect of pH on enzyme activity, and kinetics of multi-enzyme systems.
