Future Present: It Just Takes One Good Idea

Future Present documents a selection of 'Millennium Products', chosen by the UK's Design Council as a showcase of ground-breaking work by Britain's leading designers, inventors, manufacturers and retailers. United in their excellence, these products exemplify fantastic, futuristic or radically simple solutions to age-old problems and everyday needs. Ranging from 'cowslips' (plastic shoes designed to cure cattle with foot rot) to a water container for Oxfam, the book shows how these products are turning today into the future. Introduced by John Sorrell and designed by Angus Hyland of Pentagram, London.
