For horticulturist Eva Brown, a new job at the sprawling estate of Winterwood in the eerie mountains along the Oregon Coast is supposed to be her second chance at happiness–an opportunity to bury her heartache. But too soon, she falls under the powerful romantic spell of handsome and frightening scientist Adam Cole, a man whose past and present are shrouded in mystery. Winterwood, built on Native American holy ground, harbors spirits of the past who look after the residents of the remote estate.
