Geoff Wilson's Guide to Rigging Braid, Dacron and Gelspun Lines

With the recent interest and increasing use of braided lines, Geoff Wilson, master Knot tier and illustrator, has put together a guide to rigging gelspun, Dacron, and braided lines.

This guide illustrates and provides tying notes for using these lines when sport and game fishing deep-sea fishing, fly fishing, lure fishing, and general-purpose angling. Also included are tests carried out on gelspun line. The first section lists the results of line strength tests and provides information on which knots will best retain that strength. The second section provides the results of tests made on glues used with gelspun lines.
