Frances Hodgkins: Paintings and Drawings

Ongoing public demand has resulted in this new editionof the classic book on acclaimed New Zealand artist Frances Hodgkins. A newly discovered work has been added to this collection, which focuses on the different periods of her work. Three long essays extensively illustrated in black and white are followed by 40 full-color reproductions of this famous artist's work.

Iain Buchanan teaches art at the University of Auckland. He is a specialist in northern Renaissance art has published widely in this area. Michael Dunn is the head of the Elam School of Fine Arts. Previously he was head of Auckland University's art history department. Elizabeth Eastmond also lectures on art history at the University of Auckland. They all live in Auckland, New Zealand.
