Author Biography: Martin Edmond is the author of screenplays that were produced as feature films, including The Footstep Man, which was an official selection at the 1992 San Sebastian Film Festival and 1993 Fantasporto International Film Festival; Illustrious Energy, which won the Bronze Charybdis at the 1988 Taormina Film Festival and Best Film at the 1988 Hawaii Film Festival; and Terra Nova. He is the author of screenplays for short films, including Earth Angel, which won Best Screenplay at the 2003 Brekfest Festival and Philosophy, an official selection at the 1990 Montreal World Film Festival, 1999 Madrid Experimental Film Festival, 1999 Bilbao Documentary Film Festival, and 1999 International Short Film Festival. He is also the author of the books The Autobiography of My Father, Chemical Evolution, Houses, Days, Skies, The Resurrection of Philip Clairmont, and Streets of Music.
