Innovation in Engineering Computational Technology

These lectures on structural engineering were first presented in 2006 at the Eighth International Conference on Computational Structures Technology. Focusing on mathematical calculations and the computer technology to run them, the lectures cover such topics as uncertainty modeling, estimates of seismic vulnerability, fracture behavior of quasi-brittle materials, nonlinear vibration modes of plates and shells, and measures of stability for pin-jointed structural assemblies.
