Goshorn Lake Remembered

Goshorn Lake, a three-acre body of water near Saugatuck, is fondly remembered by past and present residents and summer vacationers. There is the restless towering dune on the west end of the lake. For more than 50 years the lake was crossed by a floating bridge, a short-cut to Holland. Other stories include the saga of Walter, the friendly bass, who gobbled up everything from hot dogs to mice, and the seven-foot sturgeon. Illustrated with many old photographs.
