Practical Theology: Perspectives from the Plains

Lawler (Catholic theological studies, Creighton U.) and Risch (theology, Creighton U.) are joined by 13 other theologians who work and live on the Great Plains, in reflecting on the ways that the sacred is bound by a sense of place and how theological truths are made real in their own lives and in the lives of those around them. Topics that evolve out of these reflections include gender in the New Testament, environmental justice, gambling and the social good, and ecumenical approaches to spirituality. Annotation c.
