Mind Sparklers

All of the children in your classroom will sparkle with creative ideas and whimsical insights when you offer them a "mind sparkler!" What is a mind sparkler? It's an exciting activity that challenges your students to develop their creative thinking skills. And, "Mind Sparklers" is a collection of such activities. From imagining what would happen if you could only say "please" on Thursdays, to rewriting proverbs, to designing a coat of arms, "Mind Sparklers Book 2" will grab the attention of every student in your classroom. Each activity is designed to help students develop a specific creative thinking skill. The skills, drawn from the work of E. Paul Torrance, are defined and discussed in a special teacher's section of each book. Each activity is correlated to a specific discipline of study (e.g., language arts, social studies, and so forth). But, the real fun of "Mind Sparklers" is in watching children grow with each creative activity!
