Introduction to Antenna Fundamentals

This CD-ROM introduces basic antenna concepts and definitions used in the antenna industry. Dr. Best characterizes antenna characteristics such as VSWR, radiation patterns, directivity, gain, polarization, axial ration and EIRP and discusses their impact on wireless system performance. The course also describes different antenna types, including resonant antennas, frequency independent antennas, aperture antennas, arrays and electrically small antennas.
