A graduate of Malone College in Canton, Ohio, and of Massillon Baptist College in Massillon, Ohio, Walter E. Mark holds a master's degree in education and a bachelor's degree in English. Formerly a high school teacher of twenty years, he and his wife Wendy now live in New Boston, Michigan, where he is employed in a technical field. Walter and Wendy have two children, Winona and Benjamin.

Walter won awards in scholastic writing competitions as a youth and his writing has been enjoyed by his students and fellow teachers. Now, his published writing is also drawing praise from reviewers, writers and readers in both the United States and Europe.
