Uncompahgre Country

Wilson Rockwell's love of the land along the Uncompahgre River shows in his book. He was one of the first to write the history of these towns, about some of the adjoining areas, and about the hardy pioneers who inhabited the area. Rockwell's book has been used as a primary research tool, and originals of this work have sold for hundreds of dollars. Valuable in more ways than one-a very interesting read.
