World War II is brought to life by veteran Wilbur Richardson, a ball turret gunner on the B-17, Kismet, flew 30 missions and was never shot down. He is the recipient of the purple heart, a Distinguished Flying Cross, 5 Air Medals, the Presidential Citation, Le Croix de Guerre, and an award for Personal Achievement
