Canadian Peacekeepers: Ten Stories of Valour in War-Torn Countries

To much of the world, Canada has long been seen as the nation to turn to when conflict and struggle are to be exchanged for peaceful settlement. Countless individuals have dedicated their lives to make the world a peaceful place. These are the stories of a few of those selfless people:

• Lester B. Pearson, who first brought the notion of the United Nations as a peacekeeping organization to the fore during the Suez Crisis
