Damaged

This is Arima's second poetry collection. His narrative style of poetry Arima has created an unsympathetic eulogy to friends who have lost their lives on the street, mainly through AIDS and heroin.

This is a book of gritty, mature poetry about homelessness. It is street-wise, but without glorification or romantic airs about that life. As Arima says, "there's a lot of pain in the world, and I"m not cursed with empathy".
