Hydrology in Mediterranean and Semiarid Regions

An overview of current hydrological research in Mediterranean and semiarid regions, addressing: Spatial and temporal variability; Surface and groundwater transfer mechanisms in basins; Extreme events; and Surface and groundwater resources and their integrated management. This collection of papers discusses research priorities, methods, data, knowledge and results acquired by scientific teams working worldwide, but with a particular focus on work in the Sahel and in the Mediterranean Basin.
