Prediction in Ungauged Basins: Promises and Progress

A lively and stimulating four-day PUB symposium was held in Brazil in 2005, maintaining the dynamic of the IAHS PUB initiative. Almost 60 papers were published after peer-review, addressing the themes: Model improvements through detailed process studies; Model evaluation and comparison: uncertainty analysis and diagnostics; New data collection approaches and model development; New modelling approaches and model testing methods; Progress in PUB implementation; A brief summary precedes each section, discussing the progress, and also what remains to done in that area.
