Cragg's intention is "to review and search the liability for their pronouns as religions use them, and think into the task they have with doctrines and the institutions that enshrine we and us and ours in the why and how that tell themselves." He considers a broad range of religions in his analysis, including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism.
