Literacy is close to the hearts of EPIC's members. In celebration of the new century, EPIC established the New Voices Young Writers Competition to encourage reading and writing among students ages 11 through 18, from public, private, or home-based schools. www.newvoicesyoungwriters.com. The competition offers young writers an opportunity to learn about the versatility of eBooks and to experience a taste of the ePublishing world. It has promoted eBook awareness while inspiring young writers and poets to spread their wings and make their dreams reality.
