The Southern Way

Forty-four years ago in July marked the end of regular steam working on the Southern Region and while the number of years since cannot be considered a specific milestone, we commemorate the event with a personal tribute by Kevin Robertson. An unusual feature in this issue is detail of the repair records at Stewarts Lane. There is also a wonderful photographic feature from the camera of Henry Meyer. Plus, of course, all the regular features usually included in the Southern Way series. Filled with a variety of photographs, some of which have never been seen before, and unusual features, this is a great addition to the series and a must have for any rail enthusiast's collection.
