Sony A500 and A550

Sony's A500 (12.3-megapixel) and A550 (14.2-megapixel) are intermediate digital SLR cameras that have APS-C high-resolution image sensors and in-camera image stabilization. Their Quick AF Live View combines the benefits of live image preview with high-speed autofocus and rapid continuous shooting (the A500 offers up to 5fps, and the A550 is capable of 7fps), allowing fast-moving action to be captured. Both cameras also include the following features: a 3-inch LCD screen that can be tilted up or down for easy viewing when holding the camera in awkward positions; SteadyShotâ„¢ INSIDE for clearer pictures when shooting handheld; the facility to connect to any HD-Ready TV for viewing images and control by TV remote when connected to any compatible BRAVIAâ„¢ television.
