Eddie Gibbons' first three poetry collections, Stations of the Heart (1999), The Republic of Ted (2003), and Game On! (2006), were published by Thirsty Books, Edinburgh. Why She Flew to Barcelona (2010) was published by Calder Wood Press, Dunbar. His previous collection, What They Say About You (2010), published by Leamington Books, Edinburgh, was shortlisted for the Poetry Section, Scottish Book of the Year Awards, 2011. Eddie was a prize winner in the Inaugural Edwin Morgan International Poetry Competition, 2008. He was a regional judge for the Faber/Ottakar's National Poetry Competition, 2000 & 2001.
