Victor - the City of Mines – came into life in the early 1890s and with nearby Cripple Creek, became the two key towns that offered up an extraordinary geological bonanza. People flocked in search of their fortunes. With gold and prospectors now long gone, Victor still echoes this history in its streets and buildings.
