TO THE GROOM WITH LOVE

Every man or (woman) in life always finds it so much easier to bear their burdens and life's challenges when they come across others who have been there and done that: people who have actually walked very similar paths in life as the one they are journeying through. Since none of us have the benefit of living forever to make all of life's mistakes and come up with solutions for ourselves, in this case as it pertains to marriage, the wise thing to do is to listen to others, learn from their mistakes and glean from them the lessons they have learnt. For this reason, we look up to those who have 'walked the walk and can therefore talk the talk'.

The author has therefore created this virtual opportunity for men to have a one-to-one moment with seven men in the Old Testament of the Bible and how they handled their marriage relationships with their spouses and raised their families. The men had qualities worth emulating as well as traits and behavioural patterns they would advise against in any man looking back on their lives in hindsight.
