Snuff O'Brien's Private War

snuff O’Brien was a fierce fighter in the Spanish Civil War. Now back home in Ireland, missing a leg, he is determined to lead a peaceful life of nonviolence. Peace comes with a price. Others drag him into their private wars. His enemies are more skilled in killing than he is.

With a price on his head, he must face the treachery of politicians and the Catholic Church who want him dead. Finally, chained to the ‘body catcher’ in the sewage works, Snuff knows his luck has run out as flesh-eating rats scramble in the dark mire of the sewage channels.
