Therese Raquin

Zola's classic tale given thrillingly theatrical treatment in a version that was acclaimed on its premiere at Glasgow Citizens Theatre. Therese is already married to her sickly cousin, Camille, when worldly Laurent is invited into her home. Murder brings Laurent and Therese together. It also tears them apart. Zola's novel has been much imitated, but never bettered.
