Films and Fathers

Films and Fathers is a modern-day adventure story about the importance of friendship and of fighting for what you believe in. Eleven-year-old Sam embarks on a mission to find his best friend, Oliver, who disappears from school one day after getting involved in a fight. Realising that neither his parents nor his school are willing to help, and desperate to help Oliver's dad get him back, Sam takes matters into his own hands. Charting his progress in his leather-bound Book of the Quest, and learning some important life lessons from films left behind by Oliver, Sam embarks on an action-packed mission to find out the truth about what happened to Oliver. Along the way, he finds that friendship comes in many different forms, and that sometimes you need all the help you can get to make a difference in the world.
