Rhubarb and Crumble

Drawn from the pages of sketch books collected over the years these cartoons and drawings are a humorous commentary on life in the Army from the end of World War 2 during the cold war era to the present day. As the two types before them, Rhubarb, Crumble and the ever loyal Corporal Custard reflect on topics such as the state of the current Army, standards of dress and behaviour and the perplexing changes in the names of famous regiments.

Anyone who has served in the Army or has been associated with it should recognise the characters portrayed.
