I can't deny it; I killed him, although oddly it seems we cannot use the 'k' word when we speak about such things. My voice is small and I look down at the hands clasped in my lap, as though they're still visibly stained with his blood. The images remain vivid before my eyes and scarlet in my mind. I try and explain: 'It was, you see... I couldn't stop myself. It's as though I become something else...'
