Rogues' Island

Published posthumously in 1926 this is a gem of a novel by Crockett. Anticipating young adult fiction he writes a coming of age story which is semi-autobiographical and by turns funny, witty, exciting and moving. It serves to remind us of our own halcyon days of summer.
