The Gribbons are the official list of most notable geographical high point locations in Ireland. The overall list of 186 Gribbons represents the highest points in 254 named areas (four provinces, thirty-two counties, forty-two local council areas, 123 mountain / hill ranges, thirty major islands, and twenty-three major river catchments) and a further eighty-nine unnamed areas (forty-eight 20km isolations and forty-one 500m prominences).
