A Host Of Females

A South Londoner born and bred, now a retired Civil Servant, A HOST OF FEMALES is Dave Shonfield's first venture into the genre of the short story, after his three novels --- The Stakeholders, The Coincidence of the Palm House Murder and The Games People Play.

The stories written over a period of twenty years comprise of women from different social backgrounds in diverse situations ranging from the vivacious, sexy Eve killed tragically at a young age, to an author's eponymous heroine and a long-distance lorry driver stuck with her triplets in a high rise overlooking Hammersmith Fly-Over.

They are intended to entertain, especially commuters, on their long journeys to and from work. So relax, sit back and immerse yourselves in the ways of the female psyche.
