Christmas Lover Poems

Adrestia Glaistig has selected this anthology of CHRISTMAS LOVER POEMS for their beauty, intimacy, romance and spiritual power. You will notice that lovers are in mind, including lovers of literature who, together or separately, read their way into the benign ambience that we share with each other towards the end of a year.

Some of the poems are subtly sensual. Some may divide family opinion when read aloud together but none will frighten the horses. Nor the children.

There are a few surprises, works from distant lands and distant times, but the emphasis is on the classics of modern British and American poetry.
