Sense Africa Five Ways: Short safari stories with an expert guide in southern Africa

Africa is the world's second largest and second most-populous continent. At about 30.3 million km², including adjacent islands, it covers 6% of the Earth's total surface area and constitutes 20.4% of its total land area.

I’m always surprised when people refer to ‘Africa’ as a country, although it is a common occurrence. Africa is made up of 54 countries, all of which are unique and diverse in their own way. It is larger than China, India, the USA, and most of Europe combined.

The countries that I explore in this book are all located in southern Africa; Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe.

This is a collection of stories from my travels across southern Africa, and focuses on the senses that are triggered by each adventure.
