Primary Eal Provision: Getting It Right in a Week

EAL pupils make up 1 in 6 of the population in England's schools. Up to 360 different languages are spoken by these pupils. Teachers must ensure that they consider the significant challenges which EAL pupils might face - academically, culturally and emotionally - as they engage in their education and adapt to the strengths and specific needs of these pupils.
