Jesus said 'the truth will set you free' (John 8:32). We assume that the opposite is also true-lies bring bondage. If a lie is obvious, the need for correction is obvious. However, the line between truth and error can be deceptively fine-almost unperceivable. The evidence of such deception is found in things like; a disillusioning hole in our faith, bitterness towards God, loss of hope and feelings of spiritual failure.
