Destiny's Desires

Jac had wanted her own home so badly she was willing to be a builder's labourer, to learn the skills to help build it. Then something terrible happened. Destiny's desire had been consummated. He could not abide living on this Earth because of what he’d done to achieve it - the answer to his anguish was ahead. He swerved the motorbike, jumped the gutter and hit the metal lamppost - then passed over.
