Garney Pegg was the owner of a small town bakery and grocery in Beeton, Ontario for almost thirty years. The business began in the first year of the Great Depression and carried on through World War II and the 1950’s. He and his wife Pearl raised a family of five while facing all of the problems that a small business faced in the hazardous time of the Depression and the War.
