This book is written to encourage everyone, especially young children within culturally diverse communities to embrace and love their hair and culture. The message is: Love who you are and everything about you! Simple, repetitive lines. Ages 3 to 8. The different texture and styles for African-American hair are presented in repetitive sentences, for example curly, dreads, extensions, straightened, long or short, twists and straight.
