Born!: A Foal, Five Kittens and Confederation

It is 1864 in the smallest colony of British North America, and the circus is coming to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Twins Gracie and Gabriel are excited about its arrival, but they are even more excited about the birth of the foal that their mare, Fiona, is getting ready for.

Meanwhile, delegates from Upper and Lower Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick are coming to Charlottetown aboard the SS Queen Victoria to discuss a union of the colonies. And with the circus in town, there are no hotel rooms to be had!
