Jatra, the festivals of Nepal, usually celebrated by Newar people in Kathmandu Valley are fun filled celebrations. This book is an introduction to the major Jatras and the stories behind the celebrations. Originally prepared for the Nepali School at Calgary, Canada, the book is targeted to the students of Nepali origin.
