The Last Testament of an Ordinary Man & Other Stories is a series of eight short stories which records the lives of characters caught up in the acceleration of history. Quite often, the value of life and its meaning seem to be at odds. The unnamed force throughout the stories is Nature itself. In this way, the characters come into contact with the circumambient universe-and the earth which is their real home, where the value of life and its meaning is not at variance, and is not negotiable.
