Undaunted (Stan Turner Series #1)

Undaunted is the story of Stan's youth in Southern California in the late 50s. Stan goes to the county fair and has his fortune taken by the old Univac Computer. The fortune is an ominous one promising a difficult and perilous life. About this time Stan has a brush with the law and decides to become an attorney. His fortune turns out to be a prophecy and he is confronted with every imaginable obstacle to fulfilling his dream The worst being when he is drafted into the Marine Corps and the first person he inadvertently befriends turns out to be a serial killer.
